Adding ram is about the only thing you could do to significantly increase the performance of a netbook. Running "performance tweaks" and even installing an SSD wouldn't cause a significant increase in performance considering your CPU is more than powerful enough to handle web browsing etc on its own. Unless you plan on playing reasonably taxing PC games (har) it'd be a waste of cash to get an SSD.
Another thing to check would be if your CPU is being throttled by Windows 7, which they tend to be by default. Here's a guide on checking and adjusting/disabling the throttling; http://isboxer.com/index.php/guides/...cpu-throttling
Other than this, you should check how much disk space you have allocated to your page file; it should generally be set to twice as much ram you have installed (in your case, 2gb).
Of course, as others have said, as far as having a modern OS that isn't such a resource hog, ultimately your best bet would be to pick some flavor of linux (not Ubuntu), especially if this isn't your only computer. The popular distros have actually come a very long way as far as usability goes in the last five or so years, though how fast a windows user would adapt depends heavily on what window manager (interface) they choose. Of course it's entirely up to you, just thought I'd throw that out there (again :p).
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
