Hard to say really. I tend more towards the more brainless run and shoot ones like Left 4 Dead and the older classics like Doom etc.
The original "Red Faction" and the original "Halo", oh and there was a game for the psx by the name of "Tenka" that i really enjoyed
Try to appreciate those who live during your own life time, because we'll all be dead soon enough.
DOOM and DOOM 2 - What's great about the games is that they gradually go from 'Human Realm' to 'Hell Realm'. You see the hell gradually overtaking the human world the further you get into the game. This especially true of DOOM 2.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
ya' kno, because its the only FPS game i OWN

I like older shooters. You know - with health packs, finding keys and levels that aren't straight line.
Doom is the 'best' , but there are some other fun games like Powerslave, Goldeneye\Perfect Dark, Painkiller and the Turok games.
Doom is king though, especially compared to current-gen shooters, they have too many cutscenes and scripted sequences. Actually Doom 3 BFG edition is out soon on 360\PS3 and worth getting, comes with Doom and Doom 2 as well.

Is it just me, or does the music in the first level in DOOM sound like Master of Puppets?
Na you're right, the guy who made the music to Doom was a Vietnam vet who based the tracks on Metallica, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Alice in Chains and other bands like that.
People are always covering\remixing it.
Depends on the platform really, I have separate favorites for different platforms. Right now for the 360 is a tossup between Borderlands and Halo 3 (inb4 totally cliche d00d). For PC it would have to be Fallout New Vegas, and on N64 Goldeneye of course :p
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
Time splitters 2 for sure !
