Default Help with Xbox 360 burned discs

hey guys, so its been a while since i've been on here and i'm having trouble finding the right place to find the information on this, but i was wondering, how do i go about making backup copies of games and playing them on my 360, is there additional software that i need to install to my xbox or is it all about the burning process?

Very basic info *(I may also be out of date with some of my info, my 360 and PS3 are both unmodded)

Mod chip or drive hack (drive hack would require more hardware) the price evens out a bit

360 DVD's are not directly readable in a PC DVD drive, so you need to rip via 360 hardware

Burning though is simple enough via ImgBurn

I do beleive there are ways to run games via an external HDD (Not looked too far into that though) the price does go up aswell as you still need the 360 modded in some way aswell

    Mod projects - XBOX
Phantasy Star Online Episodes 1 & 2 - online quests in offline mode packs [COMPLETE]
    [Quest Packs Collection]
GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]
[Mod ready] & [Full ISO ready]
GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]

Unless you have a proper Jtag system, I would suggest a firmware flash. If you have a white 360 (aka Phat) you can probably find someone on craigs list who will do it for under $20. Slim is a little tougher. Burning games is as easy as downloading them and burning them via imgburn as zorlon said. Depending on what system you have, read a lot about it before you dive in. You could end up replacing your hitachi.

Also: If you want to play XGD3 games (newest titles) You need a Lite-on IHAS (?)24-B drive. Where ? = any number from 1 to 6. They stopped making them recently. I bet microsoft had a hand in that.
