    Default black friday horror stories

i was reminded of this when i heard a commercial earlier today and got to looking around, i know the day spawns many horror stories every year so i'm now wondering what stories will 2012 bring forth?

could it be guns, pepper spray, heart attack victims being trampled by the shopper stampedes or maybe elderly people brawling like idiots? maybe something new to add to the list.

"A Wal-Mart worker died early Friday after an "out-of-control" mob of frenzied shoppers smashed through the Long Island store's front doors and trampled him, police said.

The Black Friday stampede plunged the Valley Stream outlet into chaos, knocking several employees to the ground and sending others scurrying atop vending machines to avoid the horde.

When the madness ended, 34-year-old Jdimytai Damour was dead and four shoppers, including a woman eight months pregnant, were injured."

People are fuckin nuts. Why not just go shopping for black friday on Amazon? You can even start a week early. Avoid the stampede of wild consumers.

Yeah, Amazon pretty much tries to match everything with their deals and they spread them out over the week. Good shout.

I'm going to K-Mart on Thanksgiving day though to get Max Payne 3 for $8.99. Closest match is $15. Heh.

Because Christmas is about spending money and getting fancy gifts at low low prices, duh

But seriously, yes, that is insane. You hear news reports about this sort of thing each year, and still people go out to join the walmart mobs for that extra discount :/ this is why I don't celebrate christmas anymore.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

Just got back from Walmart's Black Friday (began at 8 tonight)

    CRAZY

I got everything I went in to get, but people are insane. After about an hour, I was ready to go...not because I was finished shopping, but because there were so many people shoved into such small areas that I seriously was beginning to feel anxious.

I went over to the deli corner to settle down a bit.

We're going to go back out at midnight to go to Kohl's and Gamestop. Then again at 5 tomorrow morning for a couple more things. That should take care of 100% of Christmas shopping.

I've always thought that live streams of Black Friday shoppers would make great reality TV.

I watched a vid on youtube where a old lady bites this dudes hand trying to get him to drop his stuff

I had to work on black friday. Suprisingly it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. It was during the day. I guess all the crazy people went there at night when it opened for the black friday sales. I did manage to pick up LA Noire after work. Uncharted 3 must have been sold out. But yeah people are damn crazy and inconsiderate.

I had the same experience at EB, only customer when I went in, and easily picked up Witcher 2 for $20. Black Friday ain't a big deal in Canada
I happened to drive past a Walmart though. Good god, driving into the parking lot would've been nuts...
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

yeah i like boxing day in canada better, EB puts all used games 50% off if you buy 5+ games, and the EB near my house is nowhere near a major mall so it only had a line around half a wall last year as opposed to out the store and in the hall at the mall

last year i walked out with 37 games and a hole in my wallet of about $250
