Default What sort of anime do you watch?

by what sort i mean action, comedy, ecchi, game (EX: yugioh, bakugan etc...), horror, etc...

i tend to watch any and all but Comedy is my favourite and thus by relation Ecchi is a favourite because its usually funny as all hell (can't exactly complin about the other aspect though lol ).... except Eiken... i literally threw up in my mouth a little...

Sora no Otoshimono for example, very perverted yet VERY funny. though Highschool DXD is like 10X more perverted as if it goes out of its way just to be as such

Comedy, lots of comedy. I'll watch serious shows but, I'm a lot more lenient to stuff that isn't.

I have the tendency to watch those centered around fantasy stories. Inuyasha is a perfect example, though it gets rather melodramatic and repetitive. I have also watched those centered around demons or destruction such as Yu Yu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin, the latter of which is likely my most favorite of all so far.

    Romance/Comedy/Action.

I don't consider Ecchi as its own category since Ecchi is a part of everything else.

Shard was like, time to watch some shit. I was all, Luffy thread time first!

I gotta agree with Spose here in that Ecchi is more like a theme instead of a genre.

He didn't say genre! He said kind. So anything that could be considered a major aspect of the show is a valid answer.

For example, fantasy. Mecha. High school. Moeblob. Action. Romance. Bromance. Yaoi. Yaoi undertones. Guro.

Anywho, I'll pretty much watch anything. I generally try to watch a nice, action-y shounen show after watching something heartwrenching, and INNOCENT SHOUJO MANGA ROMANCE are good regardless of mood.

I actually can't handle too much moeblob in one sitting though if that's all there is to a show. I.e. I couldn't manage to finish Lucky Star or Squid Girl.

    Good anime.

That's my only real requirement. Except I'd probably never watch a yaoi. A series with homosexual male relationships, sure, but not a yaoi.
