I used to watch the TNG show. My parents are into Star Trek, so I think I've seen all the movies. Probably.

And yes the movie was pretty good. Couldn't stand all the lens flares though.

I liked the references, but zachary quinto CANNOT act as spock to save his life.
the only redeeming thing about that particular slip up was Leonard Nimoy

I think it depends on age a tad. I was 11ish when TNG came out and my dad would let me stay up and watch it with him so it holds a certain nostalgia for me. Then I got into DS9, never liked Voyager or the failed Enterprise that much though.

Some of the movies were good, others were just complete disasters. I've never read any of the books or comics though.

Most of the games follow the same pattern of hit&miss as the movies (well, for me anywho)

I can watch all trek really.
Sure, some of it isn't that good (like Enterprise, and the recent film).......but I was watching TOS reruns when I was a kid (before TNG existed) and I also watched TAS.

Funny enough, those of you who like the Trek are hating on it, but if I'm gonna give anything Trek-related a chance it WOULD be the JJ Abrams film or its upcoming sequel. The fact hat it's re-imagined and given a boost excitment-wise intrigues me.

how about the new star trek movie, involving khan?

it reminds me of the first time i saw the 2nd star trek movie. and i was totally blown away. it was very nostalgic of the previous star trek episode.
