    You don't burn 1.23GB to a 700MB CD-R, you burn the 3 discs to 3 separate CD-Rs.

Should be three separate disc images yes. Although technically Shenmue is a 4 disc game (disc 4 is just a Passport disc with some extras and stuff. It's not really necessary).

I wanted to make sure you hadn't grabbed the GDI dump, as you wouldn't have been able to just burn it.

You should be able to burn off the disc images from the main site just fine, sorry if I confused you.

Something that seems to be missed for ImgBurn but in order to burn cdi images that had more than one session (these CD images do) you do need a lil more than just the prog unless there have been changes since I last looked (there may of been)

ImgBurn was great anyway for so many console burning needs, now it covers Dreamcast, not only cdi but also via multi sessions with cue sheets (e.g. cue+bin or cue+img)
just grab the link tagged "mirror", I'm sure last time the official sited dll was moved from the official site, so it may or may not be there now, the imgburn link is fine though

ImgBurn tends to be the best burning software around, easy to use and gets the job done.. what more could you wish for

Nero I would edge against unless you have certain older versions, seems the newer versions you get with nero the more unstable it gets... it's pay for software anyway unless you get it free with hardware

Discjuggler is great if you can get it running correctly (some do have problems with it, otherwise it was the best for Dreamcast) [Limited free version is enough, it mostly limits burning speed, but it's best to burn at the slowest speed anyway]

Alcohol... just not worth it, it's pay software and has nothing going for it that you can't do for free and with less complications

I was just throwing some names out there, not really recommending. I haven't burned Dreamcast games for years and when I did it was Alcohol 120% and Nero 5.5 that I used.

    fair enough

I just felt a lil more was needed to be added

P.S. 5.5 was the version of Nero to use in the day, used it plenty myself and was needed for certain 90 & 99 min CD-R rips, DJ or Alcohol for the rest, though DJ was the free way go also CloneCD was used for a few CD images though I used to just mount those in D-Tools and still used DJ back then (Never actually used CloneCD)
