    ReviveDC Project Presents…
Street Fighter III: Double Impact (NTSC-U)

Street Fighter III Triple Threat has been delayed. It's not all bad though; you'll get plenty of play time out of this perfect version of Street Fighter III Double Impact. This disc compiles the first two arcade versions of Street Fighter III, New Generation and 2nd Impact. The games are very different in tone to the better known Third Strike, and if you've only played Third Strike, you should definitely check this out. Our normal standards apply, and this game has never been done in a perfect version before. Enjoy!

    ReviveDC Project Presents…
    Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing (NTSC-U)

Suzuki Alstare Extreme Racing is a simple but excellent racing game. You can accelerate, break and turn and that's it. It was developed by Criterion who are now famous for the Burnout series. The tracks are very well designed, and the game has a great feel to it when you're really hauling ass. Its simplicity gives it very addictive since it's simple to pick up and play, and it comes highly recommended.

    ReviveDC Project Presents…
    Samurai Shodown IV: Amakusa's Revenge (NEO4ALL RC4)

Well as for the time being this is all the Samurai Shodown games that work with NEO4ALL as part three crashes every time you strike the opposing character so I will bring the awesomesause that is Samurai Shodown IV Amakusa's Revenge in the latest RC-4 build of Chui's famous emulator that almost nullifies the need for the Neo Geo CD till games like SS3 come along and just plain don't work.

The most obvious change is visual, with dramatically adjusted color palettes for the individual characters, generally brightening them up and reducing contrast, in the attempt to make the game more cartoonish. Aerial blocking was removed entirely, and the switcharound move, which enabled a player to shift quickly behind the other's back, as well as the dodge (Evade; side-step), in which the move virtually brings a semi-3D environment to the defense in attempt to use each sword more effectively.

Following the same philosophy, some of the older characters were restored, such as Charlotte, Tam Tam and Jubei Yagyu. The entire cast of the previous game also returns, though some have been retouched to further enhance the cartoonish look.

    Outtrigger

Outtrigger is a fast paced shooter, somewhat similar to Unreal Tournament and Quake III Arena. Since it's a Sega game, it takes on a bit more colorful and arcade like approach though. The game is rather challenging to play with the controller due to the lack of two analog sticks. This is also similar to Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament. It's worth suffering through though, because it's really a very fun game. It's also quite a graphic powerhouse when you're playing it on VGA. There's some really nice looking textures in a lot of the levels. If anyone is questioning why you're keeping the old white box around, this may be a game to show them why.

    ReviveDC Project Presents…
    Starlancer (99 Minute Disc Required)

Here we go with the ReviveDC "Online" series the first of five to follow, this game can still be played using your normal modem on your system or you can tie it into your router using the Netopia/TLS setup as I do and get your game on. I didn't want to rip or downsample anything on this one as it is such a great game especially online so I bring you the first untouched image of this great game. If you missed them I posted two BETA's of this game by myself outside of RDC and can be found in the usual places. The good news is I also obtained another BETA of this game and it is much further along then the last two I released so look for that from us soon. It doesn't have online enabled as I tried so it will be done on 80min disc nothing downsampled but I am ripping the online out as it doesn't work and will allow the full playable part of the game to be used untouched.

Now I will let the back of the box entice you a little:

"From Erin & Chris Roberts, the award winning designers of Wing Commander comes a game beyond the reaches of your imagination. Battle for control of the galaxy as a member of the elite 45th Squadron or take on your friends in epic, multi-player deathmatch battles, up to 6 players at one time!! With every hour, the Coalition grows stronger, and the fall of the Alliance is at hand. Fight for freedon!! The 45th wants YOU!!!

Street Fighter III: Third Strike (NTSC-U)

The last release of our month of Street Fighter (Triple Threat is still coming, don't worry) and it's a boring normal version of Street Fighter III: Third Strike. No arcade files, no soundtrack replacement, just the retail release that most of us started playing on. Eight Street Fighter games in one month. What will we do next?

    ReviveDC Project Presents…
    Donald Duck Goin' Quackers (NTSC-U)

Ok this was never ripped from the NTSC-U source so here we are filling a gap in the matrix. Agin Noting has been ripped or downsampled. We applied a custom sorttxt to keep the audio from lagging in the SFD files due to the high bitrate. Like it or not we are here to stay bringing you more stuff for our beloved little boxes from Sega. I did however remove all the left over tracks from the PAL release as the multi audio was useless. I have hacked the 1ST_READ so that no matter what your BIOS is on the game will still play just fine without any crashes, it will just be played in English. After all this is a copy of the NTSC-U version of the game. Want Mulit-5 go for the PAL version.

    ReviveDC Project Presents…
    Spider-Man (NTSC-U)

He spins, swings across the sky and lands with a somersault ontot the Daily Bugle building. Who is this masked hero you might ask? It is YOU Spider-Man!! Fight, jump and web sling as Spider-Man as you take on a legion of sinister villians with a little help from others like Daredevil, Blackcat, Captin America, The Punisher and more!! Web-crawl and websling in a totally free-roaming 3D model of New York City. Fight notorious bosses of freak-specimens, criminals and tunnel dwellers. Web shooters and your Spier-Sense will help you thwart your enemies sinister plans and eliminate all those that stand in the way of your web. So get ready for some fun web slining open-ended adventure to the likes you have never seen on the Dreamcast!! You don't just play it... You live it!!!

Ok we have started using an older codec called KVCD that allows for optimal picture while retaining about 50% of the file size as normal mpeg encoding tools. This will make a huge difference in our work over others. IN this I put the original on a 47' LED HDTV via VGA and the CDR copy on a 55' LED TV and I could not see any differences in the video at all and trust me I was trying to find differences but i have played this form start to finsih and it is simply flawless. So expect of work to be even better from now on as I will be using this to repack some of our 99min releases in 80min format due to the fact quality can be retained but large capacity disc will not be needed for most. Best of all this allowed me to leave the audio untouched at 44k stereo for a full effect. Enjoy this masterpiece from the crew that is breathing some life back into a dying scene, ReviveDC.

Also as a little easter egg in this and my rip of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 go to the options and check the credits for a little flavor added to yout rip to know just where you got this from, the ReviveDC Team. I hacked our name into the credits for fun!!

    ReviveDC Project Presents…
The King of Fighters '96 Collection (NEO4ALL RC4)

So now that all the KOF games have been released and we did our Capcom vs SNK collection and the Capcom Taisen Fan disc fully translated from Engrish to 100% authentic English release by our resident genius Snarks so I thought it would be nice for you KOF fanboys to get sort of the same thing. So here it is a full copy with the latest NEO4ALL RC-4 release using TOSEC ripped CD-ROM. This time I left the region as USA so that it would be in English as it didn't have a language selection feature like the games did but there is no blood to be seen by using Japan region so I kept it close to home. I will leave you with a little infom from Wikipedia.

An extensive database for the game, titled The King of Fighters '96 Neo Geo Collection, was released on February 14,1997 to promote the year's title. It was available only for the Neo-Geo CD. The database included the game's intro, an Interactive reenactment of the game's backstory, character profiles spoken by their voice actors, outtakes, an exclusive gallery section from the creators, a complete command list and a sound selection.

    ReviveDC Project Presents…
The King of Fighters '98: The Slugfest (NEO4ALL RC4)

So here it is the last King of the Fighters games emulated with NEO4ALL for the Sega Dreamcast to complete your collection. I admit I don't know much about this game except it emulates very well so I am going to let wiki give you all the juicy details.I have however set it to Japanese in the BIOS for blood but in the options screen there is a setting for English text if you want to read the meager story line.

Are you good enough to become part of fighting's royal family? Find out in THE KING OF THE FIGHTERS 98 THE SLUGFEST. The 38 characters from the KING OF THE FIGHTERS series are ready to get black and blue in the ultimate quest for glory. In addition to the traditional KOF game play, you can also take your favorite fighter out for a test rumble in Practice mode. Or, battle your opponent and the clock in Survivor mode, a race for the fastest Clear Time. If you're really feeling lucky, try the Roulette Team Edit function and see whom fate chooses as your fighter.

Another NEO4ALL game in the books with many more to come I hope you all enjoy this as it compltes the set along with the KOF 96 Collection disc I have done as well to compliment our Capcom Taisen Fan Disk as they are bot similar but one for SNK the other Capcom fans like myself. Not go get your fight on!!

    Tee Off (NTSC-U)

First off, don't judge a book by its cover. I had never bothered with anything about this game because I assumed it was a crappy simulation golf game. I mean, why wouldn't I assume it? The cover is just a golf ball sitting there along with an Acclaim logo at the bottom. This game is not a simulator. This is a really fun localization of a Japanese game called Golf Shiyouyo. It's pretty much a knock off of the Hot Shots Golf series on PlayStation. It's a good kind of knock off though. It even has a moderately Engrish translation.

    Bomberman Online

Bomberman Online... it's a Bomberman game that you could once play online. Not anymore though. You can still get four friends in a room, which is the better way to play any game. If you haven't played Bomberman, you blow shit up and try not to get blown up yourself. It's a pretty simple concept to grasp. Anyways, this game has some very nice graphics. They're bright and colorful and have a cel shaded look to them. It looks GREAT on a VGA box. There's also a lot of nicely animated video in the game. This is definitely worth a play. This game was done in the audio/data format because pretty much all of the game's data is inside of a massive AFS file that's over 600mb. This screwed us out of using the data/data format. It's still got the ReviveDC thing going though. Files are sorted (even though there's like 4 outside of the AFS) and there's even a tiny little dummy file.
