    ECCO the Dolphin.

The "Tides of Time" one too, I actually had that one in the Mega Drive back in the days...

(and so much effort just to have an ending where he cannot escape death... )

I agree with Ghosts 'n' Goblins, mainly from a "clunky control" aspect. Batman was hard when I was a kid, but approaching it as an adult gamer made it a lot easier. Contra is... right in the middle. I haven't put much time into Contra, so I'll leave that alone.

Batman is actually really, really easy once you figure it out. You don't have to go by muscle memory like other hard games (Battletoads, Silver Surfer), you just have to observe your surroundings and know the best ways to defeat each boss, and if you find you're getting low on health, farm one of those things that drop the little claw guys until you're back at full health.

I'm going to stop nitpicking now.

Super Mario Bros. (I was a kid!)
Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and 3 & Megaman X3, X4 and X5 (No memory card at the time)
Front Mission 3 (Really frustrating AND time consuming)
any arcade fighting game, especially The King of Fighters (Try beat the last boss with lots of arcade addicts challenging you all the time)

Yes definitely Demon Souls for me to, and why? Demon Souls (getting them) , and knowing what to do w/ them.

Not just that, it's also lengthy process overall, you have to have good patience early in the game. (and later on)

My inbox IS NOT A REQUEST BOX , if you want to make requests maybe do it here? Someone w/ working links might help you there (I don't do requests obviously, however, feel free to let me know if a DLC file doesn't work* and needs an update ) *ex:"container error"

How to use DLC files? Use Jdownloader
Still looking for PS2 undubs by any chance? Try searching "PS2 undub project 2.6" @ google, it's hard to miss and you can maybe find most of em in a single search/post .

World of Warcraft is extremely difficult to play. I mean just forcing myself to login can take 20 minutes.

R-Type - If you have played it... you know
Wonder Boy III: The Dragons Trap - I was a kid at the time leave me alone
Untold Legends - So... Damned... Long... it fools you into thinking its ending like 3 times
Gundemonium Recollection - Try it on demonic... all will be clear

All those "bullet hell" shoot 'em ups are hard. I only play them if they have unlimited continues and let me respawn at the same spot where I died.

Ikaruga and Gradius for the PS2 come to mind. Fond memories of that free play mode.

ikaruga's the one where you switch shield/weapon colors between black and white correct? i've always wanted to give that bullet hell a try ever since i found out about they guy who manage to beat it solo (or was it with one hand and 2 controllers? was still quite impressive nonetheless) years ago, but don't really care to go through the mess of setting up a dreamcast emulator. i shall continue waiting for it to work on MAME however, till then radiant silvergun remains one of my fave shooters

as for r-type ^^, i dislike how when you die it puts you back at a earlier part of the stage AND strips you of all powerups. makes boss fighting a real b****

Oh, yeah, Ecco is really hard. I beat most of the levels as a kid, but there were always a couple I couldn't get through. I didn't play it from start to finish until years later. I think the sequel is a little easier, but that's not really saying much. :'D

    Lovely games, though~
