The name of my .bin file is "SONIC CD.BIN". I placed it at the top of the last post.

if you have that file in the same folder as the cue file it should work fine, if it still is not working though the only thing I can think of is that you have added .BIN to the end of the file name for SONIC CD.BIN in that case it may be that you have folder settings set up so it will "hide file extentions of known file types", if this is the case (the real name of it will be SONIC CD.BIN.BIN, if *.BIN files are a known file type) you can just remove the .bin from the file name and that should fix it again

the cue file itself can be named anything you like aslong as it looks for the correct file inside of the cue, that you seem to have perfectly FILE "SONIC CD.BIN" BINARY

The cue file you have is in perfect working order and should be kept in the same folder as the bin file

The only way I could simulate your problem was to have my cue looking for the incorrect file (I renamed the bin file then tested the cue to see what happens and it just takes me to the music player within Kega Fusion) once I fixed the cue to look for the renamed bin it worked as it should again

8DXD8 downloaded the file from us in the first place, the mistake that was made, was that the binary file was renamed so the cue file no longer found the binary file, I fail to see what uploading something that was downloaded from us would do though.

Did you ever get this working????

Excuse the late reply, but I removed the ".BIN" portion from the name of my Sonic CD .bin file and the game now runs with sound when I boot the .cue file. Thanks for the help everyone!

I also have one more question out of curiosity: are the opening and closing videos to Sonic CD supposed to play through the Kega emulator? Or is this particular component to the game not supported?

Should work just fine it may just be the version of the game you got, that maybe has those missing or maybe the Megadrive version never had em, I don't know the score on this game, but CD games that have video in them play it just fine

P.S. I never did tell you how to set windows to show extentions of known files.... You just open an explorer window (a windows showing folders and files, opening a folder does this), press F10 to show the menu that is normally hidden, then click on "Tools" then "Folder Options", this will open up a new window with various options within, click on the "View" tab then find the option "Hide extentions of known file types" and remove the tick to the left of it, lastly hit Apply then OK, this comes in handy when renaming files
