    Default Taskbar keeps popping up

Whenever I try playing ff8 on espxe after about 10 seconds the taskbar pops up and doesn't go away. It is irritating and I cannot ignore it. Other games have not done this. My video setting are set to "Fast" with full screen smoothing, 800 x 600 res. fullscreen 32 bit color, mdec filter and scan lines enabled.
edit" Okay, well now it is doing it with any game. GRR. I don't know what I did, this has never occurred before. Also now when I hit esc to go back to espxe screen then continue I lose all volume in game. Having restart entirely.

Did you tried to configure ePSXe using the ePSXe guide in the emulation part of the PSX Datacenter?

No but I don't see why I would need to considering I have been using this emulator for a year now and it has worked flawlessly up until now.

Make sure to disable auto hide function of your taskbar if you enabled it. If that is not the case, uncheck the option to keep it on top of other windows.
Try to play in windowed mode and see what happen.

hmm, I did not have auto hide enabled. But there seems to be no option to keep taskbar on top of windows. I am using win 7 btw.
