When you extracted the rar file, what files did it come up with? If they are not isos, then it will not work. And what file did you start with? rar or iso?

Are you using WinRar? Then maybe it is associated with ISO files so it will accidently extract it too far... If that's the case, go to Winrar ->Properties, untick the ISO box and re-extract it.

Yup, I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

If you still have problems extracting, read this:

Saying that something doesn't work is not giving to much info...

Ok, I'll give you basic instructions. All you have to do is leave it as an iso, don't extract it and dolphin should recognize it as a gamecube iso.

You should open file, if it doesn't work, then save file.

Could you please stop double posting and use the EDIT feature to avoid it?

I've got one more thing that you should try: Download another version of the game

WinRAR should come up with an error saying that it cannot find any archives. I've done this with 6 GC isos and the same error came up. The one you downloaded may be an iso with files packed into it instead of the game graphics and all that other stuff which it can't find. In other words, it's a fake.

after you extract the first time your left with several files of the same name with numbers next to them which are still compressed and a sfv. file and a sys information file, correct? well i dont use dolphin but i play my backups on my wii. if you hilight all them files and right click, choose extract here, and when the overwrite prompt appears select yes to all. when its finished it will say some couldnt be extracted, broken file, ect. but at the top you should be left with a .iso file. walah. either that or it will be a .gmc file. as i said im not familiar with dolphin but im sure if it can only read .iso there should be a simple conversion program on google somewhere. hope it helps
