    yeah ok the hunger games trilogy. I've read them and loved them when i first read them through for the first time. But all this hype has sort of burned me out about those books and now that i've read Battle Royale they no longer seem so good.

    I don't really watch a lot of live tv. I DVR big bang theory (that's like my favorite), house and two and a half men. I can skip all the commercials then. Only thing i watch live is the st louis cardinal games that i watch almost daily while doing hw or sitting here on emuparadise since i joined a week ago lol

    Most of the newer sitcoms just don't do it for me. See, here in WI there are some local channels geared towards older adults that air programs from the 60's and 70's, but I'm probably going to have to wait at least another ten years before there is an all 80's channel. Keeping my fingers crossed.

    This one has a bit of a story behind it;

    A few years back I worked for a company called Thriftbooks in their shipping/order picking department. Basically my job was to take an order list, find books on shelves, package & ship em. Easy peasy.

    By far one of the most common authors I ended up picking orders for was Nora Roberts (literally several hundred a day). It must have been the monotony of the work coupled with seeing her smug look on the back of all of every one of her books because by the time I stopped working there I'd developed an acute hatred of the woman and her work, silly as it may seem.

    For reference this is what I'm talking about here;

    Funny enough about six months into the job, a couple months after getting a friend a job working in the same department, it happened to come up in conversation; turns out he had the exact same experience.
    "I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"
