Apparently i have a colecovision but i don't use it nor do i know where it is and with games as well. Besides that i have a couple NES and Gameboy games that date way back when.

My NES still works. Tried it last august when I visited my parental home. After cleaning it, the only game that would run was Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. (based on the Kevin Costner 1991 movie) That was one of my least played games (that game's color palette is mostly so....BROWN!) Everything else refused to run, even though I have kept all my 30+ cartridges in their black sleeves since day 1. Guess there was no defense against oxidation or whatever it is that prevents proper contact with the system. I tried cleaning them with everything.

Dunno about our Atari 2600. We gave that away. (and yes, we owned the E.T. game and I finished that so many times)

The oldest working games or system I have now is my SNES. I've had older, but sold them a long while ago for space/money/lack of use

    Details please!

Anyway, I don't have any old consoles atm. I never really got into anything older than the SNES but I got out of SNES awhile ago so atm I think the oldest console I have is a PS1.

Oldest would be a Super Famicom, Sega CDX, and Sega Saturn. I don't play them enough, but it's rewarding when I do.

its not really that exciting, and it wasn't "blow up" more like major overheat

I've recently acquired a very good condition Dreamcast. My god, do I love this controller. I don't know what I was thinking as a kid when it came out and all I could think about was N64 and PS1. But now this is the oldest generation console I have now.
