Default PCSX2 strange beeping sounds during games?

During Shadow Hearts 2 Convenant, everytime I get into a boss battle I hear prolonged strange beeping sounds layered over the normal audio. Everything else runs fine and the audio is always fine except for boss battles.

My plugin is SPU2, its set to Mixing Settings: interpolation 1-Linear (recommended) and Output Settings: 3-XAudio 2(recommended).

I've messed with everything in these settings but nothing fixes it, do I need to download a new plugin? If so what? Anyone had this problem before?

    Thanks!

Yeah I understand that. Guess i'm just looking for someone who has tried to emulate SH2 to see if they have had the same problems. Are there other Audio plugins for PCSX2 other than SPU2? That work for 9.9?

    BUMP found this:

To OP, which PCSX2 version did you actually use? 0.9.8? or the latest SVN?

and does the game freeze on you like what had been issued on the PCSX2's google page? or it just simply a long beeping sound?
SPU2-X should had fixed the problem, if not, then the problem is still there but happen on random occasion, try using different Synchronizing Mode on the latest sound Plugin(I would suggest download the latest SVN).
Disable any Speedhacks, or speed boost options (Turbo mode, Framelimiting) as well, if you have enabled any.

SPU2-X is a SPU2 plugin which is the most compatible SPU plugin for PCSX2.

From my experience, some newer or older versions of SPU2 plugins may produce those kind of sounds (depending on the rev)
and I remember fixing it with SPU2-X taken from PCSX2 rev4531, cause it didn't have those problems.
I had those beeping sounds while playing Dragon Quest V and the game sometimes froze too, but after changing the SPU
plugin to the one mentioned earlier the problem was solved.

    Well personally I'm using SPU2-X r 4531, so maybe try your r 5025 first.

I think I fixed it! Used the r 1169 plugin and got no beeps on a bossfight that I previously heard it on. Hopefully this checks out. Thanks!
