It would double the file size, you would be better off not putting the file(s) in a rar.

Seriously, I don't really care about the size since I got a big amount of space available. All I care is the corruption that can occur and the way I can fully fix it without external backup (the recovery record outside the rar file).

The only thing that bother me right now is how to make a 100% recovery record inside the rar file itself.
WTF dude. If you want 100% recovery you may as well just setup some RAID drives...
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Nevermind. I'm just asking whether it is possible.. Looks like it's not possible.

A second external drive with a backup of all your .rar files ins't too expensive and would put you at ease. I always keep 1-2 drives stored away with complete backups of all my important files.

Just set up recovery volumes for every part of rar file.
Recovery volume is a lot bigger than recovery record but if you don't care about the size..

Edit: Oh yeah, you want it inside of the rar file? NVM then, it's probably impossible, that's why recovery volumes exist in WinRar.
