    Default epsxe wont run iso's

    my epsxe was working fine half an hour ago. now when i try to run an iso, windows say it 'has encountered an error and needs to close'. i know thats vauge, but i'll answer anyquestions i can.

    PC Specs, Emulator Version and name [again].

    reinstall and configure again, and then create a back up of your epsxe's registries so anything you do wrong you can roll back with them.

    there are no registery settings with epsxe, what version of windows are you running, if 7 try disabling DEP (google) and see if it helps at all, also it could be your anti-virus blocking it, try redownloading a fresh version in a different folder and see if it works you can import your memory cards after you have it up and running

    Stop posting without knowledge. there is registry settings for epsxe. got it. or do i attach my registry settings.

    weirdest thing, i went to sleep after this post( night shift ) and restarted the computer just now, and , sonofabitch, the game works now. thanks for the help and sorry for wasting everyones time.

    Seems you did'n know that in some systems if you run and iso when you finish the game you always get that error at the exit of the emulator that thing only happen if you run the game with the run cd option in a few games

    Actually there are registry settings for epsxe. The path are different between each windows os.

    thanks for clearing that up, i thought it was saved in a .ini file i always assumed that epsxe was a stand alone exe file
