Exclamation Bandai Entertainment closing shop. Better buy your DVDs now!

Bandai Entertainment isn't going to be running anymore DVDs or Manga. They will keep up with he online stuff, but thats it. Here is some of their works:

    • .Hack//SIGN

      Big O

      Blue Submarine #6

      Code Geass

      Cowboy Bebop

      Eureka 7

      G-Gundam

      Gundam 0083

      Gundam 08th MS Team

      Gundam Wing

      Gurren Lagann

      K-ON!

      Lucky Star

      Outlaw Star

      Super Robot Wars

      The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

      Witch Hunter Robin

      Wolf's Rain

I'd say grab them now, before they are out of print.

And it seems Anime is pretty much dead now in America. I believe this is also going to affect the EU as well.

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

Most of the relevant stuff is already out of print.

I looked over a full list awhile ago and I think Gurren Lagann, Outlaw Star and Eureka 7 anime legends releases are all I want that is currently in print.

I'll be waiting for the Rightstuf sale.

Heh, I still pre-order anime. The problem for most people is that it's so damn expensive (esp list price wise) compared to other forms of media. It's better than it used to be (lol singles) but it's still quite expensive. *inb4licensingfeescomment*

They will definitely scoop up everything relevant.

Read: This could actually be a good thing, if Bandai is willing to let the rights go on stuff that's been long OOP.

Yeah Funimation will get their stuff.

Stuff is too expensive, and worse they release different sets of the same thing over and over with newer extras, so it gets annoying.

Anime isnt dead, people just watch it on line and tv.

    Online yes.

    TV lol...

Anime isn't too expensive imo. The list price sure, but you can always pre-order for well under list.

Edit: It's also much better than it used to be. Lol singles.

Is the Honneamise label part of Bandai Entertainment?
