Which one you prefer? Owning games physically or digitally?

I have a friend, and I swear to god before he fixed it he had just about every game he owned (including catridge games like DS) in the case of another game for the same system. It can't be that hard to put stuff back in the proper case...but apparently it is for some people. I'm pretty OCD about all of this.

My cousin is like that. I'll go to his house and put all 50 something of his 360 games in the right case, and even alphabetize them on his shelf.

Go back 2 days later, can't even find the game I wan to play.

Similar workarounds are available for digital downloads, so its not an advantage. Its just as illegal in both cases anyway.

This is a valid point for the digital option. Kids are rough on games... I guess they don't understand, like I did as a kid, that if something broke, it was broke and that's it... a replacement will not be easy to get.

Exactly. I remember the summer I didn't have a bike because I left it in the driveway. Luckily my birthday is in the winter so I got to look at my useless new bike sit around the house for a couple of months.

Myself I prefer to have them physically. Whenever I can, I play on real hardware, and whenever I find good original games at a reasonable price, I buy them (which doesn't happen often).

I don't like paying for something I can't resell. Or touch.
