What is the difference between Kingdom hearts birth by sleep and the final mix ver

tried searching already, but i guess there is no question about this here or i didnt use the correct keywords.

so I wont mix out on anything on the original if i used final mix would i? or did they block some contect in final mix

Well from what i can say, the problem is that the "Mix" version is JAP region and the one you are playing if from US/EUR so it wont work cause they use region lock thing...
