Running American Netflix...need help please

So this isn't actually a problem with my PC...but no matter what, any VPN I try doesn't seem to work. I'm from Canada and I'm just trying to access the American selection. I have a friend in the south that's willing to share their account but the first part of the issue is making Netflix I'm from Canada. The more details, the better

Essentially, I need help setting up a VPN, and for that to work seamlessly while I go onto Netflix

Do you have a vpn server? If you do, you can use Proxifier. Configuring it is very easy, You just need your VPN server's IP address, port and VPN type.
