    Default ePSXe 1.7.0 and best Resoultion on a 1920*1080 Monitor?

    hi,

    i want to ask what is the best resolution to play on a 1920*1080 Monitor? Because i tried Castlevania today on 1920*1080 and it wasnt pretty^^

    It would be a multiple of the original resolution or extremely close to it the original resolution is 320x224 so for example 320 x 2/224 x2=

    640x 448 so the closest in the example I've given would be 640x480

    also other things affect the way it appears what video plugin are you using what setting etc.

    I would try 1280x1024

    also if you are on an amd/ati video card I have read that driver problems cause issues when trying to run above high X resolution but that was an old news post if you do change the X resolution to try though don't mess with the y for some reason it's only the x resolution this issue affects.
