I can get into the Games but when I press start to get game started the Game Freezes.

    No such game

What game/games are you talking about?

Sega Extreme Sports/Xtreme Sports maybe?? the EU version should work but has Graphics glitches
Sports Jam should also be working but will hang on some versions of NullDC

Not compatible so changing your settings will not help at all
(NCAA College Football 2K2 is the only one for the Dreamcast so the only one in that series)

    NBA 2K (J) Works
    NBA 2K (U) Not Working
    NBA 2K2 (E) Not Working
    NBA 2K2 (U) Not Working
    NBA Hoopz (E) Works
NBA Showtime - NBA On NBC (E) Works
    NFL 2K (J) Partially working
    NFL Blitz 2000 (E) Works
NFL Quarterback Club 2000 (E) Not Working
    NHL 2K (E) Not Working

    Any others???

P.S. I have a few Dreamcasts (PAL) region, they don't require a mod chip or modding in any way to play selfbootable CD-R's, the US model you need to get yourself one made at or before a date that I don't remember off the top of my head but I do have this information on this site in one of my older guides if you need/want it.

P.P.S. I have a list of english games for the Dreamcast here

That date thing seems like a myth. I've had Dreamcasts before and after that date and all have played self-bootables fine. Tbh I can't remember what it is right now either.

My guide includes those partially compatible models including dates (i.e. can only play one type of self boot (data/data probobly))

There are 3 models 0, 1 and 2 all clearly marked up on the underside of the console

I gave both the dates and variations of mixed finding and solid findings, the dates are a guideline it's hit and miss after the dates then none after a later date/model combo

Again this is only reflected with US NTSC Models, other region models may not apply to this rule

I have the info online just not bothered to look, it's in the guides sticky called something like find out if your dreamcast can play selfbootable discs... or something like that lol

Aight I will read up on it eventually, never had any trouble though which is why I haven't. All I have atm are US models but I plan to get JP LEs in the future, maybe one after Meruru comes out.

    Ps. You the man Zorlon.

Ouch. Idk where you live but they are pretty cheap in the US. Japan is high and I have no idea about Europe. Easier than dealing with an emulator imo.

I was only hinting that you get one, not that you have one already

You can only grab them second hand now anyway but it shouldn't cost too much

My guide for compatible systems is found at http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?54893

If you can't find a local store try ebay or amazon for one

    They are worth getting
