I keep the disc by my side to this day. Its in one of the shelves in my desk. Of all my video games throughout the years, Legend of Mana is the only one that I still keep in it's case, ready to play. Thats how much I love this game.

Hands-down an incredible game. Many different outcomes, many paths to choose, so much win in this game. If you haven't played it, try to find it.

Masterclass... Fabulous graphic, audio and gameplay. A lot of quests, monsters... Must have on PSX, that's for sure.

legend of mana IS quite hard to get into (you REALLY need a walkthought) but once you do, it's really fun...it's a shame that it's not canon anymore

...

but for some reason those characther designs became the canon designs for the mana series AFTER that game...I wonder why?

this game was the other square game i cant finished....too much side quest and the grphic is way too great to enjoy rather than considering to complete the game
to be honest i just train my pet to be top level,train my male char to max level and still never find out how to complete the game,even with walkthrough i still cannot complete the game but this is my fave game EVER

I played the legend of mana years ago, I couldn't figure out what exactly I was supposed to do in the game. I enjoyed it, but I think I need a strategy guide for it. It brings back good memories though. I played on the ps1 on a disk with Chrono trigger, which is an epic game. I suggest anyone who likes rpg games to play these two excellent games.

Legend of Mana was never released on a PS1 disc with Chrono Trigger. Maybe you're thinking Final Fantasy Chronicles. That had CT and FF4 on it (CT was originally on the SNES). Not to be nitpicky...that just befuddles me. if you really did have a disc with LoM and CT on it I'm genuinely curious as to what the hell that was! :O

I loved that game, i liked it better then the Snes Secret of Mana. While it doesnt have a main story it has some narrative focus. The jumi tribe specificaly almost made me cry when i played the game. It is a classic and it was pretty original, i think it was the closest thing to an open world that jrpgs offered back then.

Oh lord, the Jumi. . .for as 'bright, cartoon like, and colorful' as that game is, it sure had some really depressing storylines.
