lol, okage is a common game, i have had 2 copies at once, as for the suikodens i have all of them from 3-5 and tactics, payed $5 each mint, however opened

now regarding Okage, if you have the preorder bonus bottle opener, THAT is rare as all hell

also there are a few current gen games that are rare as fuck already

    PS3
    Neptunia
    Ar tonellico qoga

    Wii
    One piece Unlimted adventure
    Okami

    DS
    Devil survivor
    Resident Evil

    3DS
Devil survivor Overclocked (just came out in june and already rare)

You could have fooled me that Devil Survivor was rare, I see them all over the place as well as owning both versions of the game.

@warrior earlier in this thread: A game being sealed doesn't make it rare...it makes it sealed and inherently more valuable because of crazy people.

And Mana Khemia 1 and 2 Premium Edition Factory sealed, quite proud of those too.
So NISA exclusive ones right (Jess Figure and icr what was the unique item for the 2nd game, I know it has a second outer box with the RQ stamp on it before they changed the store name)?

Anyway, I have a few rare games here and there...I'm not fully sure on rarity of some of the DC les but I'm not including anything I was able to get cheap.

Mana Khemia Premium Box (1,000 made)
Mana Khemia 2 Alchemic Art Collection (2,000 made)
    Neptunia w/ Cards (1,000 made)
Ar Tonelico Qoga w/ Calendar (3,000 made)
    Senjou No Valkyria Limited Box
Atelier Rorona Full Set w/ Art Book
Atelier Totori Full Set w/ Poster
    Growlanser Generations Deluxe Pack
Lunar 2 Eternal Blue Complete (not rare in and of itself but it's 100% complete)
    Baldr Force EXE (DC vers)
    Bangai-o
    Candy Stripe -- Limited Edition
CardCaptor Sakura: Tomoyo no Video Daisakusen -- Limited Edition
    Eternal Arcadia -- Limited Edition
Love Hina: Totsuzen no Engage Happening -- Limited Edition
Mobile Suit Gundam E.F.F. vs. Zeon & DX

Hey guys, I might look like I am asking for a beating for asking this, but why do you guys keep games in their wrap? Why more than one copy?

I'm sorry. Perhaps I don't understand because I've never had too much money to begin with, less even when your parents hate videogames, and sometimes you for playing them. Having one copy was nearly a miracle, having two was absolutely impossible.

Just because I see your torches on your hands, let me say, I've started collecting last year, and I love doing so. Games and controllers.
My goal is to have at least one controller of just about every console from the 80's on, and to be the first to ever use them.
(Just yesterday I bought a 3DO controller that had never been used btw).
But still, getting and using with a lot of care is light years away from having and not using.
Is it because you plan to sell them some 5 or 10 years from now on?
I am Mega Man, I'm blue and cyan - the creation of Dr Light (or Right, if you're from Japan)
    Also known as Rockman

My Mega Buster can cut the mustard, I'm a flustered amputee
    POW POW!
Eight robot bosses in eight levels dishevel and revel in devilry,
    I'll steal their weaponry!

I am also known as the "Blue Bomber"
I could shoot the legs off Jeffrey Dahmer
Kill a robot fish, kill a robot frog,
and then I ride off on my robot dog...

you know that feeling you have been getting from having a sealed controller and being first to use it? think about that with a video game, if its say 20 years after a release of a game you would be willing to pay big money to get that feeling, others to hold onto the ability to get that feeling

you know when a game is that damn awesome, and you know its gonna be worth something in a few years/decades?

you gotta have it new and sealed, even better if its mint Factory wrap.

to me its like coin collecting or other collecting hobbies, I just love having great games in a great collection

    I s'pose you've got a point there.
    However... THIS.
You mean there is people who'd pay THAT much money and actually OPEN the fucking box afterwards?

    Spoiler warning:
The bastard had Mega Man 1, for 5000 DOLLARS

you'd be surprised, i have heard of comic collectors paying like $50000 for a issue 1 only to open it, read it, and dog ear pages
