Diablo 2, Hell Mode, Act Two, the Scarab Demons. I know it's not really a console game, but when they kill me and camp my corpse so I continue to lose EXP over and over again, I go nuts. It also sucks for me because I'm highly specialized in lightning (sorceress) and they're lightning immune, so I have to try and aim my meteor to hit them while they chase me. Also, I can't hit them too much around allies because they shoot out charged bolt (which is really deadly on Hell Mode because most people have negative resistance) and if you get four or five of them sparking, there can be dozens of bolts flying everywhere.

i know right and the other acts arent any better exept act 1 and act 4 and 5 are the worst on hell mode im a level 83 barberian and i still have trouble with it

There's also another game which is exactly the same as Maximum Carnage (same engine, layout and difficulty) only with Superman - the Death and Return of Superman.



...and speaking of Ocarina of Time, I'm stuck at a part in the game where you get the Hammer (can't remember it's name at the moment) but you have to run around a thin, hexagonal wall against a timer in order to get it and there's a steep drop in the middle. So I fall and it takes around 5 minutes to get back up there. It's so damned tedious.. I've stopped playing it for a while (got it on Wii virtual console).

I can't remember the exact order of the temples but if you're having problems with the Fire Temple you're gonna have a hell of a time on the Water Temple.

Have you tried the newest? In Pokemon White I caught Zekrom within 3 Duskballs and each of the "Muskateer" series within 1-3 Duskballs. So much easier now, although in previous games it was a bitch...

I think it was Megaman X5, there was this area with all these lasers that needed near-perfect timing and abuse of the temporary invincibility you get after damage in order to get through without the time-stop ability. Guess who found out about that ability after clearing that area.

Golden Sun. On my second playthrough I rushed through everything and ended up at the the lighthouse at lvl 14 and saved at the top. I wanted to beat it again but couldn't go back and lvl up so I just played the final boss over and over losing like 200+ time literaly. If my characters were low on hp at all the dragon would do an all attack and end up wiping me out. I finally did beat it and it was an awesome feeling. Thought about tryinf to beat it at a lower lvl but never tried again lol

It was Breath Of Fire 5: Head Quarter, I just keep repeating the game over and over and over AND over until I reached a moment asking myself Why am I even playing this game..???? , But in the end it was one of the best games i Played

The last time I actually got PO'ed enough to damage a console was the final boss battle in "Beyond Good and Evil" (PS2)... when the boss appears above you, you have to execute a special move to jam your staff upwards into his eyes... it's dam-near impossible with the PS2 control scheme.

I finally wound up using a different weapon to beat the boss, but it was super-hard... I had to equip and begin to aim the other weapon (the disc shooter) immediately after the previous strike, and not one split-second could be lost. My blood pressure climbs just thinking about it! GRRR!

Happened to me with Ho-oh, and I had an INVERSION with Mewtwo in the original red.
I went to the Cerulean Cave immediately after beating the game, with my team all around lv. 52. Most of them fainted. I sent out Articuno, one hit goes, one hit comes, and it was make it or break it. He froze Mewtwo, reduced HP to 5 and threw ONE ultra ball. ONE. I still don't understand how, but it worked.


Oh and, damn, I remembered! The last unhealthy dose of rage I've had must have been my 1CC attempt of Touhou Moutain of Faith. THAT GODDAMNED FUCKING LAST SPELLCARD GODFUCKING DAMMNIT ZUN WHY, JUST WHY?!?
I played the game over and over and over and over. It felt so damn good when I beat it.
And then the extra stage kicked my ass onto outer space.
