Default Is PSN STILL not working??

So, I've recently [as of last month] downloaded a few demos directly from my psp. I don't exactly remember my password, but I'm certain about my email at least... So, I just try to click the change password link in the site... And I get the "maintenance" message. Is the psn problem from months ago still happening, happening again, or am I doing something wrong?

No, that problem was solved months ago.

Its most likely just the site used for changing the password is down. Unless you never accepted the new Terms & Conditions they updated recently.

Hmm... I think I never had the chance. I DID see the message in my mail, but thanks to bad internet connection, I don't think I ever checked the link. So, I just need to open that mail and click the link?

I mean PSN via the browser. Whenever I tried to log in, my password didn't work, and when I tried to use the "remember password" link, I ended up on that maintenance page. I think it still works ok from the PSP.

    Just noticed this:

From what I read, it wasn't a break in. It was a mass log in. I don't know the actual numbers, but I heard a spam of 100,000 log ins between PSN and SOE. They don't believe that the list of usernames/passwords came from Sony themselves, since the vast majority of accounts were unsuccessful logins. So either it was username and passwords obtained during PSN, which have since had a password change due to the mandatory password change when PSN was relaunched, or the information was garnered from "other sources." Something like 0.1% of PSN/SOE accounts were effected (somewhere in the range of 90K), and those accounts were locked for "unauthorized access." An email was sent to the owners of each account detailing how to change their passwords, and access wasn't returned until after this was done.

Well, I fixed my account now, but guess what? I had to change my password thru the QROCITY site! I never figured out why I couldn't do so via the psn site... Besides, I couldn't even find the change password link anymore O_o I guess Sony is still making some adjustments.
