They might not be as big time as you're looking for, but here's the ones I can think of off the top of my head:

John Dillinger robbed a lot of banks
Pretty Boy Floyd did the same
Mutulu Shakur robbed an armored truck of $1.6 million
Leonardo Notarbartolo robbed the Antwerp Diamond Centre of various jewels and gold valued at about $100 million
