Default Anyone else getting Dark Souls? PS3/360

Its one of the few games I'm looking forward to. From the videos I've seen it looks almost exactly like Demon's Souls which is a good thing.

Here is a link giving some minor details on the classes, and also a trailer for the game.

I'm thinking pyromancer for my first class, because I like fire, and they also start at level 1 giving you a little more freedom for application of stats. From what I heard the fire damage is based mostly on the catalyst and not so much on stats, so you could easily do a hybrid Warrior/Mage type build with a pyromancer. Although for killing other players I would go with something else like a high dex assassin type and go for back stabs just like I did in Demon's Souls.

I'm definitely gonna get Dark Souls but I'm gonna play the noobiest class i can, as Demon's Souls just destroyed me. After one playthrough I'll try to play a class that I really want to, but I get violated at every turn, I'm no good

Of course, been avoiding any and all news/gameplay vids to keep it fresh. Wish it would come out for the PC.

I'll naturally be playing as well on the PS3. I'll likely be playing a spellcaster again as well; it's just my natural MO. Though, a priest-type might not be too bad, either.

I'll pick it up eventually, but not right on release. I really enjoyed Demon's Souls, but it's still not a "pay full price game" for me.

I'll be picking it up, I'm fairly excited for it at that.

I've pre-ordered 2 copies at different retailers, cause there are rumors they won't fill all the pre-order allocations for the CE... I'll probably return (or refuse) one of them though if they both come through. At any rate, I have zero plans to actually play it, I haven't even opened a copy of Demon's Souls to play yet
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

Who is gonna be invading and backstabbing noobs on day one? *raises hand*

I was one of those low level invader/griefers with uber gear that everyone hated on in Demon's Souls. I got at least 50 hate mails saved on my profile, those are hard earned, unlike the trophies in Demon's Souls

A naked SL 6 invader with a Baby's Nail +5 was one of the most fun I ever played, its also the build that got me the most hate mail.
