    Default Sega Genesis ROM set(BIN FORMAT ONLY)

    So,

    I have a Gopher on the way and it plays roms off of an SD card. The only thing is that it takes BIN files only. All the romsets I see around are just in either SMD or like my Everdrive ROM set, GEN.

    Does anyone have a full rom set in BIN format exclusively?

    BIN is a format for CD games. It usually will come with a CUE file.

    You get Binary (*.bin) roms aswell as CD images

    There may be some minor variables in the header that wouldn't be correct with simply changing the extension. Although I'd wager dollars to doughnuts that a simple extension change is sufficient for this Gopher thing. So yeah, just use some batch file renamer or something... Failing that, just use Ucon64 and batch convert the fileset for reals.
    *PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

    Mine are .md that I believe are actually plain binary i.e. same as .bin but batch converting is just as easy

    I realy don't have that much time so I will personly pass on this unless you are realy struggling to get them/get them converted

    Easy to change file extension DURRR

    Create a new text document in the rom folder

    Open it , type

    REN *.SMD *.BIN

    Quit and Save Document

    Change the .txt file extension to .cmd

    Double Click the .cmd file .... All done

    .SMD = Original file format
