    Default DSI Exception in Dolphin

I can't see from the FAQ of Dolphin regarding this issue. When I load a game, DSI Exception in slmv or lmv pops up. I searched in Google but nothing works.

BTW, this happens in The Urbz: Sims in the City when I loaded its ISO. Smash Bros. Melee works fine...well almost fine but it's very slow and I don't know the right settings for it to run at normal speed.

Does anybody know what the problem is regarding the DSI Exception? I know that this may have been asked numerous times but I can't seem to get it fixed.

Go to the Game Browser(the one where all your games are listed), right click 'The Urbz : Sims in the City', and click on Properties.

On the GameConfig tab, make sure the small box for 'Enable MMU' was ticked.
Close, and restart Dolphin, then try running the game again.

I'll post the specs for the Dolphin emulator soon but just to let you know that my version of Dolphin is r7694m.

Well, with your current specs, it impossible for the emulator to go faster than it is now, since your performance limited to the CPU(Celeron) you have, as well the GPU(integrated graphic chips).

    Anyway, post your Dolphin settings.

Set your Framelimit to 100 - 120, and disable Audio Throttle(try with Auto as well).
Enable Skip EFB Access from CPU, disable the EFB Copies, and Lightning.

Then, run your games, and see if there any changes, if not, switch to 3.0 and apply the same settings.

There are lots of graphics problems such as the magnifying glass in Smash Bros Melee (it shows bug textures or something) as well as the weird textures. Other than that, it runs almost smoothly in specific frame skipping numbers.

As for the Urbz, majority of the gameplay is black. I can't see the Sims or the buildings. It's technically unplayable. I enabled EFB copies to fix that...

Well, the settings I gave you is mainly for increasing the emulation speeds, however that would be resulting to poor graphics, glitches in some parts of the game.

I would advise your to upgrade your CPU if you want to have both stable graphics and speed while playing.

I see. Anyway, is it safe to use concerning my CPU specs or will it cause problems to my computer when I continue playing it? (Such as my computer hanging or having really low memory to the point that the computer is completely sluggish)

Nope, it won't do anything serious on your computer, maybe lockup or hang is likely to happen, but that depends whether the game is demanding or not.

Refer to the second post ^

and if the problem still persist, please create a new thread instead of bumping an old thread.

    Thanks.
