Yugioh wc 2011 won't fire up and stays on black screen

I have just downloaded the english version of yugioh over the nexus wc 2011 nintendo ds rom but for some reason it will stay on a black screen
without any title screen ever loading up when you fire up the emulator.

I currently use the nogba zoomer as it works the fastest on my computer.

I would appreciate any help given as i am relatively inexperienced at using emulators
