Trouble running my emulator (ePSXe+BIOS+Plugins[1.6.0])

I am running ePSXe+BIOS+Plugins[1.6.0] and it likes to freeze up and get bogged way down to the point of no playing, I can't even make it to the first fight in the game Final Fantasy Tactics, which I have tried about 3 versions of and I cannot get it to get going, I also am running off Petes video GPU and can't figure out how to get it to stop going in fast forward/super speed. Any help would be awesome!

Go to Video config, check 'Use FPS Limit' and uncheck 'Use Frame Skipping'.
Then, set the FPS Limit to 60.

For the freeze issue, can you be more specific with it? like when it happen, etc.

YESSS! Thank ya sir, freezing and ludicrous speed is no longer happening.
