2 Red Rings Help

Hi, ive had the same xbox since i bought it on the day it came out. its gone through 3 red rings 3 times. but this is the first time ive had two red rings. ive looked all over the internet and they all say its overheating so i put a fan on it blowing cold air for an hour and put it on a hard surface. the area its in isnt cluttered or dusty.. but the real problem is around every 5 minutes its on it gets the 2 red rings. i'm waiting to check if its still under warranty but im pretty sure that only covers the e74 error. i dont have 100$ to send it in so im hoping some of you guys can help. ive used compressed air, a vaccum hose, and even taken the case off of it and cleaned out all the dust but still no dice. i just bought 3 months of live and now i cant even play it so the sooner i get help the better

No thanks. i'd rather save money. im not exactly rolling in money. i had to sell almost everything i own just to buy this thing and i want it to last as long as i can. not to mention i already paid for xbox live and by the time it gets back from m$ it'll almost be gone

Bitch to the call center and don't relent, ask for a supervisor. Also mention the 3 months of live, they may also send a free month or something to make up for it. It's worth a shot. Just don't put it in the freezer to cool down

For 100$ you'd be better off getting a used Jasper instead of having them repair your launch console, trust me.

Microsoft don't seem to give two shits about what the problem actually is with the 360s you send in, as long as it's not banned from Live just send it in saying it has E74 or RRoD and there's a 90% chance you'll get a working console back.

EDIT: Just say sometimes it loads up to RRoD, sometimes it loads up to 2 lights (over heating).
