Default I need help on how to burn psx files using my Mac.

I'm ready to tear my hair out. I cannot find any instructions on the internet on how to burn PS1 files like ".img .sub .ccd" or ".bin .cue" on my Mac. It's really frustrating since there are a lot of games from the PS1 that I want to play on my PS2.
I have easily been able to burn PS2 games, but it's just the PS1 games that are giving me a huge problem.

    Thanks!

Also, don't be all like "hurr get a pc durr". Seriously.

What program are you using to burn the isos?
I recommend burning them using Alcohol 120 and Daemontools.
Just burn them as you would a ps2 game.
Select the .img and the .bin files to burn

Also it is recommended to use Cd-R's of good quality like verbatim for example

What exactly ARE the problems youre having?

Are you burning them, only for them to have nothing on them?
    Does it hang while burning?
Does it even TRY to burn?

Need to give a bit more info if you want good help bud.

I know you're only trying to help, but this is the most useless post ever to a Mac user.

Because a lot of people much prefer to use the original hardware over an emulator?

Ah I guess I should have been more specific:

The programs I've been trying to use is Toast Titanium 10 and even Disc Utility. Usually the disc does burn, but when I pop it into my Playstation 2, the screen goes black for a second - like it's about to begin the game - but then it goes back to the Browser menu. I've also tried burning just the .cue file onto the disc, but it ends up having the same problem when I run it on my PS2.
I've tried getting Macports and installing ccd2iso, but that didn't work at all. I've tried looking for equivalents to Daemon Tools and CloneCD and whatnot, but I can't find anything.
The types of CDs that I use are Sony's CD-R's.

Is the PS2 Swap trickable or has SwapMagic?

No, it just has a modchip inside. It's one of those fat PS2s.
I'm not sure what swap trickable is though.

Swap Magic doesn't work with PS1 games.

    Fail yet again.

    Don't be mean
Anyway. I think that you might have a better chance if you convert the files to a .iso or whatever so it's readable.
But I think the modchip is only for PS2 games though, so you could burn them for an original PS1 if you have one.
That might be it, even though it's modded, it needs to be able to do the swap trick, and if I'm not mistaken, I believe you can only do that with a skinny PS2

Don't convert anything to ISO, if the game has audio tracks (CDDA) then they'll be lost in the process.

Some PS2 modchips are capable of booting PS1 copies. Have you done it before and had success?
