I am not sure if they have DS Online added to Emulators yet, But they Do play online on a Flashcard in a actual DS.

I keep hearing of these wonerful things: Flashcards. Are they things that hook up to a computer and you download games and it will fit into a DS? If so what versisions of DS's does it support?

Flash cards are awesome, all you need is a Good quality Micro SD card

BEST cards you can get, the Supercard DSTwo even runs GBA and many other System Emulators.
I wanna get a DS One i Mini sometime soon.

If you dont care for the Extra CPU, get the DSOne i Mini For Standard features , you can run homebrew and emulators like NES, GBC, stuff like that.
Get a DSTwo if you want some advanced features thanks to the built in CPU, GBA SNES, Arcade Emulation is some of the features.
FYI, the DSOne i Mini is a advanced DSOne i, it no longer needs the flasher adaptor.

they all do the same thing, just thr DSTwo has the best features, but since you seem to want it basic, go for the DSOne i Mini, and do try to get a MicroSD card around Class 4 or 6, DO NOT get a Class 2.
If you get one il be more than happy to help you with the rest, its pretty simple.
