This. Especially since the story of the Vagrant is yet to be told. Which is somewhat hilarious, considering the title.
Anachronox. It was planned as a trilogy, and the game even ends on a huge cliffhanger, but they went bankrupt before being able to make more. But it wasn't a very well-known game in the first place. It's basically the textbook example of a forgotten game that deserves a sequel.
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. With a proper, less "buggy as shit" engine, it'd be the most awesome thing ever. Hell, it kinda is already.
The Legacy of Kain/Soul Reaver series. There needs to be more of this. What's not to like about Zelda with vampires + an awesome plot?
I'd love to see more of Shadow Hearts. The second game is one of my all time favourite JRPGs.

i second that. too bad the sales of the ZX series were low. they were making a 3rd game, but it got canceled.
i also would like a Threads of Fate sequel. i thought that game was fun, i never did beat it though. i got rid of all my roms, since i never really played them.
also Zombies Ate My Neighbors 2. the rom hack is better than Ghoul Patrol

Secret of Evermore, and FF8.
Secret of Evermore may have used the same engine as The early Mana series, but why is that some sort of bad thing? I think the Doom engine has been recycled a million times over. How many games now-a-days actually use their own, amirite?
Also FF8 has little room for expansion, but still, its the bestest!
