Forgotten video games that deserves another sequel/prequel?

Well, I really do think New Super Mario Bros. should get a sequel. I know there was a Wii version named New Super Mario Bros. Wii but I'm still waiting for a New Super Mario Bros. 2. Think they might make a sequel to the well-known Nintendo DS platformer, eh?

I remember playing most of those games you guys are talking about but I have never ever dedicated an entire years worth.
The closest I have been was about a full summer and even then that felt like it was overkill for one game.

Alundra isn't even in Alundra 2 and they went from wonderful 2D to bad looking 3D . Call me crazy, but I think Alundra 2 should have been about another adventure of Alundra .

i would love to see a true sequel to chrono trigger square even said themselves that cross was not meant as a direct sequel to trigger even though it does have events featuring some of triggers characters i would love to see a direct sequel
