PROBLEM: I get a black screen when I file>Run ISO the file type of any of the Digimon World series games from this site. I'm not saying it's a corrupted file type, I just believe there's something I've missed or I haven't done. I've downloaded all three of them twice. Maybe I'm missing something? Cause this is my first time downloading an Emulator and getting it to work.

I understand ISO's are the games and such. I thought it might be that I had to place the ISO's in the folder where my PSX Emulator is because those ISO file types didn't show up when I clicked Run ISO as I had to select the file types as 'All Files' and only then could I select the ISO files.

Back to the black screen anyway, It just gives me a black screen. Nothing pops up when I press the right controls for my setup like start and X. So the only thing that happens is when I press esc and of course it exits me out. I've really been looking forward to play these games as I grew up playing them and they were just excellent. I would greatly appreciate anyone who could help me out.

Could you please tell us what are the files extensions of the image files you are trying to run?
If by any chance they are .ecm files, you'll have to use ECM Tools to unecm the image file for it to be usable with the emulator. To do it, just drag and drop the .ecm file into the into unecm.exe.

Then you have to extract the image file, those files are still compressed.
Install winrar, right click the first part, the one with the lower number, and hit extract here to get the image file.

Awesome!!! They worked. Well the first two did. I extracted them with WinRAR and they worked perfectly! When I choose the third file it doesn't give me the action of Extracting like the other two. That's the one that is a .part file. Does that mean its not the complete file?

By the way, thank you so much for the help so far Cookie Monster. I really appreciate. You really made my day.

you need to put all files in the same folder, then just right click the .rar one and choose extract here, after that you will end up with an iso which you can use with epsxe.

usually when I have a .part it means the download didn't finish. try opening your download manager and restarting or resuming the download. It should work if it's not from a capcha or account protected site like megaupload or rapidshare.
