memory card doesnt load...

i started 2 play gc games since the last week and 4 the first time in my life... lol, well, i suddenly it says everytime that i play that theres no memory card in slot 1... in mk deception it says that theres a wrong device, & in star fox adventures it says that the device cant be used... i didnt delete anything important and im worried cause i dont know what 2 do, so hope some1 can help me plz...
