I downloaded a game it has 11 rar files and one sfv, and when I unzipped the rar files I got these 3 things : .I00 , .I01 , .MDS

Now what to do? I burned the mds but the game didn't work

How is your console modded? Swap Magic? Modchip? FMCB - ESR? HDLoader?

What do you mean by "it doesn't work" tell us HOW it doesn't work, what happens when you load it...

HOW did you burn it? Write speed, DVD type, brand, etc?

how its modded i dont know, all i know is that often when i download games and burn them i can play them on my ps2 no problem, but sometimes it just doesnt work, i mean the games dont work..

I use many programs, alcohol 120%, power iso, magic iso, nero, img burn, ultra iso ....... I try to burn the game on one program and if it doesnt work i just try the other and so on. I use DVD-R 4.7 GB and hmmmmmmmmmm when I try to play the game on ps2 it says it cant be read

I hope you used Alcohol 120% or ImgBurn to burn the game, the other programs you listed are worth uninstalling from your computer and forgetting about.

4.7GB DVD isn't specific, who were the discs made by? Sony? TDK? Verbatim? etc...

Also are they DVD-R or DVD+R?

.I00 .I01 suggests that you need to extract them with 7zip which will give you a .img file that you can use. Alternately you can use hjsplit to combine after extracting with WinRAR but who wants unnecessary programs cluttering up their HDD? 7zip replaces both of those.

No. i00 and i01 were created using ImgBurn, but ripped to a FAT32 drive. They don't need extracting or merging, but you CAN merge them with HJSplit. Do NOT extract your i01/i00 files as you'll just fuck shit up.

Yeah, that's garbage, just random contents that were in the iso file, most likely missing massive amounts of required data. Just delete that crap and redownload. If you wanna do something to the i00/i01 files you can follow the guide in my sig...

I did : ) and I got the iso file BUT still, does not work, none of the softwares is burnning it for me :'(

Wow, somebody other than me using i00/i01 files You can confirm if you converted it to standard a iso correctly by comparing it's CRC to the entry on redump:

If it matches you're looking at some sort of burning issue on your end. If it doesn't match it could've been some issue with joining the i00/i01 files, or the image was screwy in the first place somehow
