    Alright, thanks, it works....now all I gotta do is try and remember the map I created way back when I had the actual game.

    for future reference, this problem on desmume fixes easily by going to 3d settings, and changing depth comparison threshold from 0 to 10 or 15. the higher the value (up to 100) the larger and more visible the cursor will be, but may distort other graphics, so i would go no higher than 20.
