Um you do know that it only applies to ppl born after 2009 right?

Surely the, err, star allignments didn't change last year? We'v all been living lies.

As has been said, the sign dates we've been using were last checked and updated millenia ago. Western astrology doesn't really give a shit about whether or not their claims of which constellation you're under have any relevance to the actual positions of the constellations in the sky when you were born.
This is pretty much typical of their approach to things in general.
Art isn't pornography. Nudity does not equate pornography. The statue in question is of Hermes - the messenger of the gods, and guide to the underworld.
I mentioned that I had heard this on the last page of this thread. Though I haven't actually seen evidence of this anywhere, most every site I've seen posting news of this says something almost entirely different from the next.
difference in opinion perhaps?
First Interview.... sees the couch
Hello, i am the casting Couch. you have probably seen me in locations that you can ether not tell anyone, or places you wish you never visited if you know what i mean
Astrology, like most things related or associated w/ metaphysics are more subjective than anything. in our adolescence we are incredibly suggestible.
As it stands, your mind believing something, has more influence & with everyone else around you reaffirming it only gives an idea this power to govern you.
it's all psychology really: The human mind is a powerful thing.
When I want your opinion, I will diffuse it from you through osmosis!
Just another excuse to end the world early!
all your base are belong to us :Arc:
Astrology as we know it has almost nothing to do with stars other than the Sun. This is because 'tropical' astrology that is used in the Western Hemisphere is based on the Solstices/Equinoxes rather than constellations.
Asserting that the stars position in the sky might effect the formation of a fetus in the womb enough to have an effect on a persons personality later on actually is somewhat reasonable. If you disagree, read The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra. It discusses in great depths how current physics leads scientists to views incredibly close to Mystical thought, and is based on the false assumption that gravity has negligible effect on subatomic interactions. It shows that the position of stars light-years distant can alter the course of particle interactions based on Gravity and action-at-a-distance which is inherent to most sub-atomic interaction.
Just make it easier for everyone and /wrist. kthxbye

I been calling myself a Serpentarius for 10 years so I'm cool with it
Serpentarius is what Ophiuchus used to be called
The funny thing about this is, if I was born after 2009 i'd be a Tauries (Aries and Taurus) since the Aries last day is May 13, and the Taurus first day is May 13. :V
I'm going to choose to believe this is bull... even though I should want to change my sign.
Other people get to sound all poetic with "I'm Pisces, the fish" or "I'm Sagittarius, the archer"... I get to say "I'm Cancer the Crab". Might as well say "I'm Tumor, the crotch-cricket".

Well, OUR zodiac signs haven't changed since we go by the western zodiac and NOT the eastern zodiac.
Chinese Astrology? :p

some of us go by both, so this is applicable. I wonder how this applies to week, day, and hour signs in eastern zodiac?
