Default Help with PSX roms split into .APE files

Sorry if this has been asked already but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Anyways, I'm confused on how to play several PSX games that I've downloaded since they're not just one .bin file. Rather, they are split into "tracks" which are all .ape files except the first being a .ecm. I've tried using UnpakkISO on them to convert them all into .bin's, but then I'm not sure what to do. Opening the "track1" bin file (formerly the .ecm file) will kind of work but the game will freeze early on.

I'm a complete noob. Any help will be greatly appreciated...

.APE Files are called Monkey's Audio files. It cant be opened.
You've downloaded the wrong iso files. What game had you downloaded and where do you downloaded it?.

    i think iv solved it

use this as a guide 2 get u going

    FILE "yourgameTRACK01.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    FILE "yourgameTRACK02.bin" BINARY
    TRACK 02 AUDIO
    INDEX 00 00:00:00
    INDEX 01 00:02:00
etc...etc...depends on how many tracks you have, make sure the index data is exactly the same as above!
by the way use unpakkiso on folder so it gives u a bunch of .bins first

    hope this helps u yabba
