Who you guys think will win today?

England or Italy?

Doesnt matter to me since Germany is going to beat whoever wins anyway.

Hoping for high drama today. I don't really care who wins I just want to see cards and bad decisions.

It's going to be fun if Balotelli comes off the bench and decides the match, given how fond the English media (and pretty much every other country's media) are of him.

BTW, Germany never defeated Italy in an official match. Ever. Incredible but true.

I don't think Italy have ever defeated Croatia and Spain had not defeated France until yesterday. Either way Germany will get a shot at a team I dislike.

It annoys me when England win one or two games, then suddenly everyone thinks they're going to win the cup.

They acted like avoiding Spain, and playing Italy is the easy option. There are no easy games at this level, they will be lucky to get the win against Italy.

Among Italy starters Buffon, Bonucci, Montolivo, and Balotelli are on yellow cards. Maggio, Chiellini (injured) and Thiago Motta are the Italian subs on yellows.

They all wipe out after this game though so they could only miss the semi-final.

I don't know, Italy have attacked well enough here, and Pirlo has been... er... peerless. Just a combination of poor finishing and bad luck, really. The longer it goes on, though, the more England will believe they're destined to go through. And belief is a big part of shootouts, so... :O
