One of the classics
My wai-fu, among many other wai-fu, and they are my current favorite. What? Too nerdy? Well, I think it is.
The Four Eyed Squire LP channel.
- Terranigma: The Credits music
- FF3: Gogo's theme
- Grandia: Just the whole soundtrack!
Probably one of the greatest ending themes ever =] can never get enough of it

This had one of the best soundtracks for any Sega Genesis game. Streets of Rage is the best beat em up to ever be made. Where's the remake or reboot of this game going to come out?

Final Fantasy used to have great music. Here's one of my favorites, the airship theme from FFIV.
Spoiler warning:
Living life without doing what you want, now that's just a recipe for misery
The entire musical soundtrack in Goonies II for NES was always
a favorite of mine, especially the underwater and the underground levels.
A few samples from the game:
Below is an unbelievable cover of music from Goonies II by an
amazing group called, "The advantage":
If anyone would like the entire Goonies II NES soundtrack
(320kbps .mp3 format / Ripped from NSF files), I've got it
uploaded to the forums in this thread.

All I listen to these days is VGM so hard to pick a fav. I've been through so many music genres in my time ,but I can honestly say VGM has been the longest lasting and most rewarding. The first soundtrack I can recall falling in love with though has to be Draculas castle in Castlevania Simons Quest. And when I got the TG16 CD player it was on from there that I became a VGM addict
But, the reason I'm posting here is because I was hoping someone could tell me where I can find/download the soundtrack from the original Smugglers Run for the PS2. I've managed to locate a ton of hard to find VG scores, but this one continues to elude me.
have people in this thread already ranted about Katamari Damacy's soundtrack? It's the best (seriously... it's damn good)
Edit: after further inspection... apparently I have already ranted about such things... Either way, my point still stands.

Retrofiber,
I know all too well about searching and searching and searching for something that simply refuses to be found. So, I'm going to attempt to rip the Smugglers Run soundtrack for you. So many people here on the forums have helped me to find the things I've really wanted and now, I'd like to help. That is, if I can. Again, I'm not sure I can do this, so please give me some time, and know that I am bound and determined now. I like a challenge and I love video game music. As soon as I come up with something, or lack thereof, I will post again. So, it's, "Hurry up and wait!" = )
UPDATE: I have ripped the soundtrack and posted it to Mediafire for you in the "Gaming Music" forum here. Enjoy!
