Default How To Extract Password Protected 7zip Files

I have received a few PMs and requests on extracting one of my uploads. So I've dloaded the game in question: Tales of Symphonia [NTSC-U] with no problems, and extracted it with no problems.

    Here's how:

    1: Dload and install 7zip:

    http://www.7-zip.org/

2: Dload all parts. All the parts should be the same size except the last one, that will be smaller. If it's a 2 disc game, you'll only need the first disc to proceed. You can get the 2nd disc and follow the same procedure later.

3: Right click the lowest number file t_o_s_d1.7z.001 and extract.

4: When prompted for a password, copy and paste it.

5: The extraction process should start. If not, then you may have used the wrong password.

6: You should now have a 1.35gb ISO. You can delete all the 7zip files if you wish, you're finished with them now.

If a password is being used, it should be specified in the download thread.

Not sure how you can miss it, though each poster has his/her own different style.

When I try to unzip a specific file, I get an error message reading 'Unknown compression method'. I've even tried using ZIPreader but that program doesn't even register that the file /exists/ on my computer.

What can I do about this or is it just a lost cause?

The game in question is Echo Night 2.

No need to post it more than once, stick to the thread you created, please.
