Installed win 7 because I accidentally deleted all my kernel in ubuntu.. what a noob

How did you manage that, I thought the root and all the important files were locked on Ubuntu?

I'm just trying to clear some old kernel in my grub so I deleted them all except for the latest 8.04 xx.xx..xx.28-30 but when I reboot, grub nothing detects except for my win xp. I tried to fix it thru live CD but still grub can't see it

BTW i did that in synaptic
