Hey yall ok I got a game mysterioso whose name escapes my grasp:
-it was on ps1 or ps2
-of Asian making (japanese?)
-plot it murky but is followed a group of detectives and at one point you have to go to hell, or some demonic plane
-there was a puzzle with time and an old lady, that's all I got

This is a super long-shot, and while I doubt it, maybe someone here can help me.

This was an old PC game. First-person, I think, and it was a futuristic, sci-fi setting. It was the kind of game where you interact with people and object by typing "look at ___" or "talk to ____" and the like. I don't think there was any animation, though if there was it was limited.

I don't remember much about the game besides little snippets and scenes, but I do remember one entire segment. During a mission you're sent to another planet to look for some old guy who was stranded there, or something like that. You meet him and in order to get him to return with you you have to leave a good impression on him. I remember he had a pet lizard or tiny dinosaur or something like that. There was a control panel in the old guy's house that his pet liked to lay on, and to get to the panel you had to move him. You could either shoot him, which wouldn't leave a good impression on the old man, or get him to move by feeding him or something.

That might not be entirely accurate but it's about all I can really remember. Does anyone happen to know the name of the game despite my limited memory and description of it?

and i say that because you made me remember that damn game, the "Hot Shot" one! man; hours and hours playing that thing... and i can't even remember where. those faces...

I'm looking for an arcade Game (Yeah, those big, old machines, like those ones of Pac-Man and Galaga)...

first of all, it showed a 2D building (like an Ice Climber: just up-down movement). It has stairs, doors, and elevators. 2-D.

It was about a big-headed (orange?) guy in a black suite, with a gun. no big detail or stuff, it really was a caricature. and all the graphics were like that.

the enemies were other big-headed orange guys, but with another colour of clothes, i don't remember... all of them can shoot you. you must walk through the levels of the building to kill everyone and collect weapons, money, you know.

as i said, it looked like a cartoon. no reallistic violence or stuff.

the big deal was about the prize that you got when you finished the whole level... it was a picture of a sexy woman, with the main character as a tiny guy somewhere in her body. not pornographic or stuff, ir really looked like those Ecchi pictures of now. but no great sexyness or suggestive themes. it really looked cartoonish. but that's the main thing i can remember of that damn game.

any ideas? i want to play it again!

Well, I think I have your game, in fact I´m pretty certain:it is Pipis and Bibis/Whoopee!!
From Toaplan, a well respected arcade game developer back in the day, the game itself is pretty solid and didn´t really need the sexy pictures to be enjoyable, but those still make it all the more interesting nonetheless. Have fun!

Ok I played this one about 10 years ago, its a tycoon type game i guess. Your an alien and you own your own space ship and you have to buy materias and travel around to differnet planets or something and sell it kinda like drug wars haha but anywho i was wondering if anybody knows this game i know details are extremely vague sry but this is all i got.

Sounds like Uncharted Waters. If not that maybe Sea Trader Rise of Taipan, which was a half decent clone I played before.

incase Ragnar's answer is not what u looking for, i think your game is Sid meier Pirates.

by the way i'm looking for a 2D tank battle game where u have to defend a base made from brick i think inside is a yellow bird or sth similar but this is not Battle city the graphic is better and the settings is outside, different areas and u can shoot the trees, houses, etc.. too sorry for lack of info cause i play this game like back in 97-98 sth when i'm using win95 maybe its a MSDOS game..???

another game is much more popular i think also an old game where u pick from 2 guy in suit a fat and a skinny one, a 2D side-scrolling game like mario and the colour of the game is kinda pink-ish...? this game must be msdos game i think so.

hello there folks.im new to this forum.maybe you can help me finding some old games titles i remember playing in the 90 but cant remember the titles.its driving me nuts.
both games were released on the psx platform if i recall right.

the first one was a scifiish one.you were flying around in a spaceship that resembled a 1940s car.you had to collect stuff and shoot on targets.the spaceship was in constant flight and you couldnt stop until you reached the end of the level.

the other one was a slightly anime style one.you took the character of an armored squad member and you had to place bombs in the area and blow up stuff but also avoid exploding creatures to get to you.it was a very quick game you needed to remain in constant motion in order to survive.and no it was not bomberman.
