Default PC To Xbox FTP [FileZilla]

I am using Windows XP for this tut, the process may vary on different versions of Windows.

    You will need:
    A modded Xbox
    FileZilla
    Ethernet crossover cable

    Configure your IP address
    Spoiler warning:

On the desktop, right click My Network Places/properties

Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click the properties box. Check off obtain a IP address automatically.

Next, where it says IP address, enter:
    IP address:192.168.0.1
    Subnet mask:255.255.255.0
    Default gateway:192.168.0.1

    Click OK.

    FTP Settings:
    Spoiler warning:

    Download and install FileZilla.

Check your Xbox for the IP address, it's normally on the main screen depending on the skin you use.

Start FileZilla, enter the following settings. Your Xbox IP might be different.

    Host: 192.168.0.2
    Username: xbox
    Password: xbox
    Port: 21

Username and password all in lower case.

Make sure the crossover cable is connected to the PC and Xbox.

Hit Quickconnect, the port number disappears upon connection, hence why it's not displayed in the picture.

    Transferring A File:
    Spoiler warning:

I've used a small file for testing purposes. But the principle is the same for large files.

Select the file to transfer from the left hand window, DVD2Xbox. Select the destination in the right hand window (Remote site).

Right click the file to transfer, and select upload. If successful, the file should transfer to the destination folder. You will need to reboot your Xbox before it can be used.
